CONCERT | KNUD

  wo 3 mei - 21:00

rhythmic diversity in combination with picturesque melodies

KNUD consists of Jona Hahn (piano), Kevin Hemkemeier (bass) and Jonathan Schierhorn (drums).

We formed through studying jazz together at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen.

Our musical repertoire consists exclusively of our own compositions, which focus on rhythmic diversity in combination with picturesque melodies.

Our compositions are based on a harmonic, melodic or rhythmic construct, in which we have every freedom to break it up. Our music is a recurring "losing oneself" and "finding oneself“.

The joy of playing, the musical communication between us, and the resulting connection with the audience, makes our music come alive.
