NL | Kwint Hendriks is een Nederlandse drummer die in 2025 is afgestudeerd aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag. Hij heeft ervaring met spelen in verschillende ensembles, van bigbands tot kleine groepen, in diverse muziekstijlen. In 2023 kreeg Kwint de kans om op tournee te gaan met Grammy Award-winnaar Bill Laurance als onderdeel van het Jong Metropole Orkest, een jeugdorkest bestaande uit conservatoriumstudenten in heel Nederland. Na samen te hebben gespeeld in verschillende projecten, besloten Aaron Diaz en Kwint Hendriks een pianotrio op te richten om hun liefde voor straight-ahead jazz tot uiting te brengen. Dit leidde tot de oprichting van het Aaron Diaz/Kwint Hendriks Trio. Het trio richt zich op het spelen van standards in de bebop- en hardbop traditie en laat zich inspireren door artiesten als Charlie Parker, Cedar Walton, Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen, Barry Harris en Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers.

CONCERT | Martijn van Iterson

FREE ENTRANCE | NL | "Martijn van Iterson is een gerenommeerd Nederlands jazzgitarist, componist en docent, geboren in Leiden. Hij begon al op jonge leeftijd gitaar te spelen en raakte al snel geïnteresseerd in jazz. Na privélessen studeerde hij aan het Conservatorium van Hilversum bij Wim Overgaauw. Zijn uitzonderlijke talent werd al vroeg erkend, wat resulteerde in het bereiken van de finale van verschillende prestigieuze, op landelijke tv uitgezonden kunstwedstrijden.

Als bandleider bracht hij verschillende albums uit, waaronder "It's Happening", "The Whole Bunch", "Streetwise" en "Swarms". Twee van zijn composities zijn opgenomen in het European Realbook en zijn werk heeft internationale erkenning gekregen, met optredens in de gerenommeerde Birdland Jazz Club in New York en het Chinese National Center for Performing Arts in Peking.

Naast zijn carrière als uitvoerend muzikant geeft Martijn les in jazzgitaar aan de conservatoria van Amsterdam en Den Haag.  Hij heeft talloze prijzen ontvangen, waaronder Edison Awards (de Nederlandse Grammy) en de Bird Award op het North Sea Jazz Festival in 2004. Zijn spel kenmerkt zich door lyriek, verfijning en een diepgewortelde liefde voor de jazztraditie."

NL | Het Panos Gourdoupis Quartet is een dynamisch modern jazzensemble, onderscheiden door zijn combinatie van verfijnde harmonische diepgang en meeslepende ritmische interactie. Geïnspireerd door artiesten als Wayne Shorter, Kurt Rosenwinkel en Lage Lund ontwikkelt het quartet originele composities die de nadruk leggen op sterke, memorabele melodieën en zich ontvouwen tot complexe muzikale vertellingen. Hun liveoptredens kenmerken zich door rauwe, gezamenlijke energie en diepe improvisatie, waardoor elke set verandert in een zich voortdurend ontwikkelend verhaal.De groep wordt geleid door gitarist en componist Panos Gourdoupis, na zijn goed ontvangen release uit 2025 “Any Time Now”, ondersteund door het Amarte Muziek Fonds. Het quartet bereidt momenteel de opname van zijn debuutproject in 2026 voor, met een focus op het verder ontwikkelen en presenteren van deze muzikale visie op het podium.

EN | The Panos Gourdoupis Quartet is a dynamic Modern Jazz ensemble distinguished by its blend of sophisticated harmonic depth and compelling rhythmic interplay. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Wayne Shorter, Kurt Rosenwinkel, and Lage Lund, the Quartet develops original compositions that emphasize strong, memorable melodies and unfold into intricate musical narratives. Their live performances feature raw, collaborative energy and deep improvisation, turning each set into an evolving story. The group is led by guitarist and composer Panos Gourdoupis, following his well-received 2025 release “Any Time Now” , supported by the Amarte Music Fonds. The Quartet is currently preparing to record its debut project in 2026, with a focus on further developing and presenting this musical vision on stage.

NL | Met het album ‘In Search Of The Lost Chord’ brengt jazzpianist Daan Herweg zijn tweede album uit na een indrukwekkende carrière in de muziek. Door 15+ jaar ervaring als speler en componist bij grote pop-acts maar bijvoorbeeld ook vrije improv en alles ertussenin heeft hij zijn stem nu luid en duidelijk gevonden. De (inter)nationale pers labelt zijn muziek als mainstream jazz, ze raakt, is soms meezingbaar, kleurrijk en verhalend terwijl de improvisaties kunnen ontsporen en uitdagen op het scherpst van de snede. Het palet aan invloeden rijkt van Debussy en Herbie Hancock, naar Marcel Proust en gangsta-rap. Ga mee op zoek naar het verloren akkoord. In Cafe Bebop zal Daan zijn nieuwe plaat in trio bezetting te horen brengen.

NL | Stijn Winter is een opkomend gitarist uit Utrecht met een frisse mix van traditionele en hedendaagse jazz. Zijn invloeden lopen van gitaargrootheden als Jim Hall en Pat Metheny tot indierock- en metalbands. Ondanks zijn eclectische playlists heeft Stijn een zachte klank, spannende ritmiek in zijn vingers en altijd een gevoel van lichtzinnigheid in zijn spel. Hij zal spelen met een gitaarkwartet van creatieve muzikanten van het Utrecht's Conservatorium.

CONCERT | Ricky Silver’s Blues Syndicate

FREE ENTRANCE | Together they pay a respectful tribute to the sound of the 50’s in a fantastic display of virtuosity and musicality.

NL | De Portugese mondharmonicaspeler Ricardo Silva richtte deze band op, geïnspireerd door de jaren 50, nadat hij in 2024 naar Buenos Aires was gereisd. Daar nam hij een EP (release datum nog niet bekend) op met enkele van de beste Argentijnse bluesmuzikanten in Estúdios ION. Deze opnames bevatten versies van enkele van zijn favoriete Chicago Blues-klassiekers en een paar originele nummers. Na zijn terugkeer in Nederland bracht hij deze opname tot leven met een nieuw project, met de hulp van drie fantastische muzikanten: Ronny deCarlo (NL) op gitaar, Giuseppe Bordasco (IT) op bas en David Puime (ESP) op drums. Samen brengen ze een respectvol eerbetoon aan het geluid van de jaren 50, met een fantastische demonstratie van virtuositeit en muzikaliteit.

EN | Portuguese harmonica player Ricardo Silva started this 1950’s inspired band after travelling to Buenos Aires in 2024 where he recorded an EP (release TBA) with some of the best Argentinian blues scene’s musicians at Estúdios ION. These recordings featureversions of some of his favourite Chicago Blues classics and a couple of original songs. Upon arriving back in The Netherlands he materialized this recording with a new project through the help of three fantastic musicians - Ronny deCarlo (NL) on guitar, Giuseppe Bordasco (IT) on bass and David Puime (ESP) on drums. Together they pay a respectful tribute to the sound of the 50’s in a fantastic display of virtuosity and musicality.

EN | Daniel Keller grew up as the son of alto saxophonist Wolfgang Keller, and thus a future with this instrument was already set. He has performed on various jazz stages and festivals both in the Netherlands and abroad with the big bands of the Italian maestro Peter Guidi. At the age of 11, he began studying at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where he took lessons from, among others, Simon Rigter and Joris Roelofs. Nowadays, he can be admired in the Jazz Focus Big Band, Sorrindo, and several smaller ensembles with musicians from the The Hague area.

NL | Daniel Keller groeide op als zoon van de altsaxofonist Wolfgang Keller, en zodoende stond een toekomst met dit instrument toen al vast. Hij heeft op verschillende jazzpodia en festivals in het binnen en buitenland gespeeld met de bigbands van de Italiaanse maestro Peter Guidi. Op 11 jarige leeftijd is hij begonnen aan het conservatorium van Amsterdam en heeft daar les gehad van onder andere Simon Rigter en Joris Roelofs. CONCERT | Las Hienas

FREE ENTRANCE | Since their formation in January 2023, they have been creating a powerful countermovement in the music industry, performing the works of female composers as well as their own music.

NL | Las Hienas is een tegenbeweging in de muziekscene. Ze zijn een nieuwe beweging binnen de latin-popmuziek die je laat glimlachen, dansen en je krachtig laat voelen. Deze volledig vrouwelijke band brengt een moderne visie op wat muziek is, met uitvoeringen van zowel eigen composities als werken van vrouwelijke componisten. De optredens van Las Hienas zijn meeslepend en vol energie en vriendschap, waar je een plek vindt waar je bij hoort.
Sinds hun oprichting in januari 2023 in Rotterdam, hebben ze al op grote festivals in Nederland, Duitsland, Zwitserland en Ijsland gestaan, zoals Días Latinos, North Sea Jazz Festival, Karneval der Kulturen, Riviera Latina Festival en Cultural Nights Reykjavík.
Hun eerste EP: “Nuestro mundo” (Onze wereld) zal in maart 2026 worden uitgebracht.

EN | Las Hienas is a captivating all-women band composed of eight musicians and based in Rotterdam. Since their formation in January 2023, they have been creating a powerful countermovement in the music industry, performing the works of female composers as well as their own music. Currently they’re working towards their first EP release in 2026.

Their eclectic musical palette includes Afro-Cuban beats, contemporary salsa, Andean folk, traditional Caribbean rhythms, and the rich influences of Jazz. Las Hienas' performances are electrifying and full of energy, which have already been presented at big festivals in the Netherlands, in Germany and Switzerland, such as Días Latinos, North Sea Jazz Festival, Karneval der Kulturen and
Riviera Latina Festival.
