Leonardo is a passionate musician who believes in the interaction between different art forms and is committed to sharing his music with the world, constantly seeking ways to transcend conventions and expectations in music.
EN | Leonardo was born in 1995 in Bassano del Grappa, Italy, and from a young age, he had a strong passion for music, particularly the guitar. He began performing at a young age and later completed his studies at the Arrigo Pedrollo Conservatory in Vicenza, where he earned his degree in jazz guitar with top honors.
In Vicenza, he collaborated with talented musicians, including Michele Calgaro, and performed at renowned jazz clubs and festivals both in Italy and abroad. In 2022, he furthered his studies by moving to Rotterdam, the Netherlands, for a research master's program at CODARTS. There, he specialized in counterpoint and polyphony applied to the guitar, enriching his music with compositions from the previous century.
His research explores works by artists such as Messiaen, Debussy, and Ravel while aiming to create a unique and captivating sound by experimenting with diverse musical influences and innovative technologies. NL | Leonardo is geboren in 1995 in Bassano del Grappa, Italië, en heeft van jongs af aan een sterke passie voor muziek gehad, vooral voor de gitaar. Hij begon op jonge leeftijd op te treden en voltooide later zijn studie aan het Conservatorium Arrigo Pedrollo in Vicenza, waar hij zijn diploma in jazzgitaar behaalde met de hoogste onderscheiding.
In Vicenza heeft hij samengewerkt met getalenteerde musici, waaronder Michele Calgaro, en heeft hij opgetreden in gerenommeerde jazzclubs en festivals in zowel Italië als in het buitenland. In 2022 vervolgde hij zijn studie door naar Rotterdam, Nederland te verhuizen voor een onderzoeks-masterprogramma aan de CODARTS.
