CONCERT | Alex van der Spek & Naut de Bruin Quartet

  wo 17 apr. - 21:00

Alex van der Spek (guitar) and Naut de Bruin (piano) share a passion for songs and songwriting.

Inspired by among others the music of Joey Baron, Pat Metheny and Fred Hersch, they decided to write their own songs. Many of these songs are based on a memory, a story or an anecdote.

Together with Boris Kwant (bass) and Marc Sentenie (drums) they form their quartet.
As a band they always try to create space for everyone’s individual ideas. In this way, the original compositions form a starting point for a new, collaborative musical story.
