NL | De passie voor jazz muziek in het Kroese Kwintet hoor terug in de muzikanten. De muziek komt het best tot zijn recht in een warm jazz cafe vol liefhebbers. Met veel traditionele jazz vullen we menig cafe met muzikale invulling.

EN | The passion for jazz music can be found back in the musicians of the Kroese Kwintet. The music can be fully appreciated in a warm jazz cafe filled with jazz lovers. With plenty of traditional jazz in its repertoire, they fill any cafe with welcome music.

CONCERT | Gábor Ladányi Trio

They approach improvisation as if creating chamber music, where the roles of each member are equally significant.

The Gábor Ladányi Trio was formed in the winter of 2019 and is currently based in Brussels. In 2022, they released their debut album titled ‘Reborn,’ featuring two special guests, Roby and Tony Lakatos. In 2023, Hunnia Records released his second album titled ‘DustyThe trio exclusively performs Gábor’s original compositions, utilizing a diverse range of sounds to convey various moods. They approach improvisation as if creating chamber music, where the roles of each member are equally significant.

EN | Johnny Agisilaou is a greek Cypriot drummer currently living and playing in the Netherlands. He moved here for his studies at Codarts for his bachelor and then conFnued his master studies at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague. His trio will present tradiFonal jazz standards with a contemporary modern twist as well as some originals. A comment Johnny got about his composiFons is that it sounds like Coltrane had a beer with Wu Tang Clan a\er they went to a metal concert together.

 

NL | Johnny Agisilaou is een Grieks-CyprioFsche drummer die momenteel in Nederland woont en speelt. Hij verhuisde hierheen voor zijn studie bij Codarts voor zijn bachelor en vervolgde daarna zijn masterstudie aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Den Haag. Zijn trio speelt zowel tradiFonele jazzstandards met een hedendaagse moderne twist als enkele originelen. Een opmerking die Johnny kreeg over zijn composiFes is dat het klinkt alsof Coltrane een biertje hee\ gedronken met Wu Tang Clan nadat ze samen naar een metalconcert waren geweest.

NL | Vloed is het nieuwste jazz-trio wat in Delft is aangespoeld. Het bestaat uit drie jonge knapen die kunnen intrigeren met complexe solo’s en symbiotisch samenspel, maar ook perfect op de achtergrond fungeren. Ze laten het publiek het ene moment wegdromen bij ballads maar schromen niet om vervolgens de voetjes van de vloer te swingen of een uitstapje te wagen naar de Bossa Nova. Ze worden geïnspireerd door onder andere Bill Evans, Ahmad Jamal en de trio’s vandien. 

EN | Vloed is the latest jazz trio to arrive in Delft. It consists of three young lads who can intrigue with complex solos and symbiotic interplay, but also function perfectly in the background. One moment they let the audience dream away with ballads, but then they don't hesitate to swing their feet off the floor or take a trip to the Bossa Nova. They are inspired by Bill Evans, Ahmad Jamal and their trios, among others.
